Alessi — Wall Clock | Bamboo Accessory

Alessi MDL05 - Time Becomes Living Matter

There is something unexpected about looking at an Alessi clock: you do not just wonder what time it is, but how that form came to be on the wall. Bamboo carries with it the memory of nature, the lightness of a material that grows quietly and, when worked, reveals an almost botanical grace. Hung in the kitchen or living room, this clock marks the rhythm of the day with discretion and elegance.

Why we chose it for you

Since 1921, Alessi has transformed everyday objects into small manifestos of applied design. The project was created by Michele De Lucchi, an architect and designer among the most influential figures on the international scene, capable of recognizing the poetic value of simple materials. Choosing this clock means bringing home a piece designed by one of the most significant collaborators in Alessi's history, in a material - bamboo - that conveys care for materials and contemporary sensibility.
