Alessi — Mediterraneo ESI01/29 | Red steel fruit bowl

There is something immediately vital about the red of the Mediterranean. The ESI01/29 fruit bowl presents itself as an object capable of changing the mood of a room: round and generous in its twenty-nine-centimeter opening, coated in carmine-colored epoxy resin that transforms steel into something warm, almost organic. Placed on a table or sideboard, it immediately becomes the visual center of gravity - even before it becomes functional. The design was born from the collaboration between LPWK and Emma Silvestris, a creative partnership that Alessi has skillfully showcased within the Palinsesto fall/winter collection. The choice of red is not accidental: it is the color of freshly picked tomatoes, poured wine, and the sun setting over the sea. An explicit reference to Mediterranean identity, understood not as folklore but as a philosophy of living - convivial, sensory, rooted in the pleasure of beautiful and useful things. At Stilmobili, we chose the Mediterranean because it perfectly embodies that tension between functional object and designer object that we love to convey. It is ideal for those who furnish with awareness, and for anyone looking for a centerpiece that can converse with both a contemporary kitchen and more eclectic settings. A tasteful gift that is a safe choice, and a purchase that needs no special occasion to justify it. Project notes: steel fruit bowl with an epoxy resin coating, red. Diameter 29 cm, height 10.8 cm.
