Alessi — Merdolino ASG04 ASG04 AZ | Blue resin toilet brush

There is something disarming about the Merdolino's honesty: taking an object traditionally condemned to invisibility and transforming it into a small pop sculpture, capable of making anyone who enters the bathroom smile. Made of thermoplastic resin in an intense, saturated blue, its soft, organic profile rises from the floor with the lightness of an animated character, almost alive. The shape is deliberately anthropomorphic, subtly suggested, as though Giovannoni wanted to hint at a presence without fully declaring it. Stefano Giovannoni is one of the most recognizable designers in Alessi's history: capable of bringing to industrial design the playful, affectionate dimension that transforms everyday objects into household companions. The Merdolino was created as part of the **A di Alessi** collection, a line designed to bring quality design to every corner of the home - including the corner no one really dares to furnish. With its diameter of 12 cm and height of 48 cm, it occupies space discreetly but does not go unnoticed. At Stilmobili, we chose it because we believe good design should not stop at the bathroom door. The Merdolino is ideal for anyone who considers the entire home a space to inhabit with aesthetic consistency, and for those who recognize formal irony as an authentic form of design intelligence. It is the perfect gift - for yourself or for someone who already has everything but has not yet learned to laugh at their own objects. Project notes: blue thermoplastic resin, height 48 cm, diameter 12 cm. A di Alessi collection, design by Stefano Giovannoni. Net weight 1.06 kg.
