Alessi — Merdolino ASG04 | Giovannoni toilet brush

There is something inevitably comic and at the same time profoundly serious about the Merdolino: a toilet brush that does not hide, apologize, or pretend to be anything else. Its shape is that of a stylized little tree - a slender trunk supporting a dense, rounded crown - made of brown thermoplastic resin, a color that playfully embraces its intended use. Forty-eight centimeters of household object that transform the most prosaic act of home care into something unexpectedly cheerful. The Merdolino was created by Stefano Giovannoni, one of the undisputed masters of Italian design, capable of bringing humor and poetry to the most unlikely corners of everyday living. Designed for the **A di Alessi** collection - the Alessi universe in thermoplastic resin, democratic by vocation and brilliant in execution - this accessory has become a recognizable icon over time, one of those objects cited in design courses as a perfect example of how function can be redeemed through form. We at Stilmobili chose it because we believe good taste should not stop at the bathroom door. The Merdolino is for those who furnish with consistency and a smile: people who know that even the most utilitarian accessory deserves a story, a designer, and an aesthetic reason to exist. It is the perfect gift for someone who already has everything, and the definitive answer for anyone who thought certain objects could not possess design dignity. Project notes: height 48 cm, diameter 12 cm, thermoplastic resin, brown color. Made in Italy for Alessi, A di Alessi collection.
