Alessi — MG32 MG32 B/CH | Michael Graves stainless steel electric kettle

There is something immediately recognizable about the MG32, a silhouette that needs no introduction for those with an eye for design. The polished stainless steel welcomes the kitchen light with the generosity of a convex mirror, while the black thermoplastic resin handle and base create a color contrast with the compositional confidence that belongs only to great designs. Cordless and silent when lifted from its base, it brings the water to its 150-centiliter capacity with the same naturalness with which a well-made object enters the daily routine and elevates it. Michael Graves, the Princeton architect and master of American Postmodernism, began his collaboration with Alessi in the 1980s with the celebrated 9093 stovetop kettle - the bird-shaped whistle that became a global icon. The MG32 is the electric response to that vision: the same dedication to the object as narrative, the same attention to form as a cultural gesture. Graves conceived every household product as a small inhabited building, with its own structural logic and a character that withstands time. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it represents exactly what we are looking for: an appliance that does not hide in a drawer or blend into the countertop, but chooses to stand out with conviction. It is designed for those who furnish with intention, who consider the kitchen a space of culture as well as practicality, and who see no contradiction between everyday functionality and considered beauty. Project notes: polished 18/10 stainless steel, black thermoplastic resin handle and adapter, 1.5-liter capacity, base diameter 25.5 cm, height 27 cm. Cordless system with rotating base.
