Alessi — Carafe | Design Fukasawa

Alessi Caraffa NF09 - The purity of glass, the pleasure of wine

Pouring becomes a measured, almost meditative gesture. The carafe designed by Naoto Fukasawa is based on an archetypal form - the bottle conceived by Leonardo da Vinci - and reinterprets it with the restrained precision of contemporary design. No ornamentation, only carefully studied proportions and that small curve at the mouth that distinguishes every piece in the collection: a subtle detail that proves indispensable when in use.

Why we chose it for you

Since 1921, Alessi has been a research laboratory in the field of applied arts, capable of transforming everyday objects into authentic design experiences. Fukasawa - one of the masters of functional minimalism - has built a service around wine tasting in which form and aesthetics are never separated from function. The crystal glass carafe with silicone stopper is the synthesis of this approach: an object that satisfies wine enthusiasts who pay close attention to both visual appeal and practicality.
