Alessi — Nick PLA01SET2 | Set of 2 blown glass Christmas decorations

There is something ancient and precious about mouth-blown glass: a material born from human breath, taking shape in the air and solidifying into something fragile and luminous. Nick is a set of two Christmas decorations that carry this centuries-old tradition, reinterpreted with the contemporary sensibility that has always distinguished Alessi. Hand-painted, no two are alike, the two spheres bear subtle, unrepeatable traces of the artisan's gesture - a delicate reminder that every truly beautiful object has a human origin. The design originated from a collaboration with PlayLab, the creative studio Alessi involved in building its own narrative universe connected to the festive season. PlayLab works with irony and poetry, translating the vocabulary of Christmas into forms capable of inspiring wonder without being redundant. Nick belongs to the Alessi Palinsesto autumn/winter collection and embodies the brand's ability to transform seasonal ornamentation into an object to keep and rediscover each year with renewed pleasure. At Stilmobili, we chose Nick because it represents exactly what we look for when curating a Christmas selection: not generic decoration, but decoration that tells a story. It is the perfect gift for those who love receiving objects with a soul, and for those who decorate the tree with the same care they use when choosing a book or a record. It works on its own, as a precious gift, or combined with other pieces from the collection to create a festive tableau with character. Project notes: mouth-blown glass, hand-painted decoration. Dimensions: 9.5 × 8.5 × 12 cm. Weight: 240 g. Set of two pieces. Designer: PlayLab for Alessi.
