Alessi — Nuovo Milano 5180/20 | Sottsass 18/10 fish knife

There is an almost surgical precision in the way the fish serving knife from the Nuovo Milano collection presents itself on the table: an 18/10 stainless steel blade with measured geometry, a handle with exact proportions, and a balance in the hand that allows no uncertainty. Twenty-five centimeters of metal that can be, at the same time, both a tool and an aesthetic statement. Nuovo Milano was born from the collaboration between Ettore Sottsass - the great master of Italian design, founder of the Memphis Group and a pivotal figure in twentieth-century design - and Alberto Gozzi, with production by Alessi, which made it one of its most representative cutlery collections. Here, Sottsass brings his ability to work through subtraction: nothing superfluous, only what is needed. The result is a set that belongs to the tradition of the great Italian table while discreetly looking toward a timeless modernity. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece for those who consider the table an extension of the home design - not an accessory, but an act of composition. The 5180/20 fish serving knife is ideal for anyone who wants to complete a cutlery set with the stylistic consistency that only a designer of Sottsass's stature can guarantee. Its belonging to the spring/summer line and its classification as an end-of-series piece also make it an object to collect with the awareness of those who recognize the value of something that will not be reproduced. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, length 25 cm, weight 105 g. Serving piece, end of series, part of the Alessi Palinsesto spring/summer collection. EAN code 8003299023233.
