Alessi — Octave ABI05 | 18/10 stainless steel bread basket

There is something almost musical about Alessi's Octave - and it is not just the name that suggests it. The ABI05 bread and breadstick basket stretches across the table like a measured composition: long, slender, airy. Its elongated 18/10 stainless steel form captures the light and distributes it along the perimeter with the same precision with which a musical staff arranges notes. The polished, rigorous metal surface transforms an everyday gesture - serving bread - into a moment of formal attention. The design bears the signature of Abi Alice, an Australian designer with a highly recognizable style, capable of moving between sculpture, jewelry, and industrial design with rare naturalness. Her approach to volume is always sensory: every object she signs seems to contain a latent tension, a form that could have been different but chose to be exactly as it is. The Octave belongs to the permanent Alessi collection, with a spring/summer spirit that suggests its use in brighter, more open settings - outdoor tables, light-filled lunches, kitchens where white dominates. At Stilmobili, we chose the Octave because it represents what we always look for: an object that performs its function well without ever giving up its own aesthetic presence. It is the right basket for those who love setting the table with intention, for those who see the table as a space for care and not merely function. Perfect as a design gift, it holds its own alongside the great classics of Alessi production without hesitation. Project notes: Dimensions 41.5 × 17.5 × 4.5 cm. 18/10 stainless steel. Weight 560 g.
