Alessi — Il Quotidiano | Morrison Design Serving Plate

Alessi JM13/36 — The rigor of everyday life, by Jasper Morrison

There is something reassuring about the simplicity of a serving platter that has nothing to prove. No ornamentation, no concessions: just the quality of stainless steel and clean geometry that lends every dish greater dignity. Bringing it to the table is a quiet but precise gesture.

Why we chose it for you

Alessi — founded in 1921 on Lake Orta — has the rare ability to transform everyday objects into pieces that stand the test of time. With this serving platter, British designer Jasper Morrison brought the standards of professional catering into homes in 2000, expressing them through his unmistakable minimalist language: nothing is superfluous, everything is necessary. It is an object that does not age because it has never chased fashion.
