Alessi - Toaster Tongs

Alessi Plissé — Michele De Lucchi Toaster Tongs

Every morning can have its own shape. Plissé tongs bring the same care reserved for major home accessories to the breakfast table: a simple gesture — removing a slice of toast — becomes part of a mindful ritual. Haute couture pleating is translated into steel and resin, giving the kitchen a lightness that can be seen and felt.

Why we chose them for you

Alessi was founded in 1921 on Lake Orta as an artisan workshop and has since established itself as one of the most influential research laboratories in the field of applied arts. The Plissé series, designed by Michele De Lucchi, belongs to a tradition of everyday objects that transform function into form. A set of two tongs that allows you to toast up to four slices of bread at the same time: nothing redundant, everything in its place.
