Alessi — Plissé MDL07 B | Black electric citrus juicer by De Lucchi

There is something almost sculptural about the way Plissé occupies the kitchen countertop. Its cylindrical form, covered in a pleated texture reminiscent of the folds of a tailored fabric, transforms an everyday gesture - squeezing an orange in the morning - into a small aesthetic ritual. The black thermoplastic resin absorbs light without reflecting it, giving the piece a quiet yet decisive presence. Eighty watts of power, a diameter of 18.5 centimeters, a height of 28: proportions designed to be there, not merely to function. Michele De Lucchi designs this citrus juicer as one might sign a manifesto. One of the undisputed protagonists of Italian design, De Lucchi brings to Plissé the same tension between formal rigor and human warmth that has run through his entire career - from the Memphis furniture of the 1980s to contemporary architecture. The collaboration with Alessi is part of the tradition of the Fabbrica dei sogni in Crusinallo, which for decades has entrusted leading figures in Italian and international design culture with reinterpreting the most ordinary household objects. We at Stilmobili chose Plissé because it embodies exactly what we look for: objects that are not justified solely by their use, but that inhabit spaces with a personality of their own. It is designed for those who consider the kitchen a place of expression, not mere functionality - for those who want every detail of their surroundings to tell something about them. Project notes: European plug, compatible with standard household systems. Body in matte black thermoplastic resin. Height 28 cm, diameter 18.5 cm. Net weight 2.5 kg. Alessi collection, fall/winter lineup.
