Alessi — Plissé MDL07 W | White electric citrus juicer by De Lucchi

There is something almost sartorial in the way Plissé interprets an everyday gesture. Its white thermoplastic resin form is structured around a pleated geometry - the same rhythmic fold that in haute couture transforms fabric into sculpture - lending the kitchen object an unexpected formal dignity. Eighty quiet watts, a cone that naturally embraces the fruit, and a silhouette that does not hide in the cupboard but rightly asks to remain on the countertop. Michele De Lucchi designed this electric citrus juicer as part of the Alessi Palinsesto project, the collection that brings together major names in international design in a shared reflection on the objects of domestic life. De Lucchi - an architect and designer among the most influential of his generation, a key voice in the Memphis movement and later a leading figure in an era of great formal rigor - brings to Plissé his ability to imbue everyday life with meaning without weighing it down. The pleated texture is not ornament: it is structure, identity, tactile memory. At Stilmobili, we chose Plissé because it embodies exactly what we look for when selecting an object for the kitchen: it should be beautiful even when not in use. It is the ideal gift for those who live mindfully, for those who do not separate aesthetics from function, and for those who consider breakfast a moment worthy of care. It works with a standard European socket and integrates effortlessly into both a contemporary kitchen and a more classic interior. Project notes: height 28 cm, diameter 18.5 cm. Power 80W. Material: thermoplastic resin. Finish: white. Alessi code MDL07 W.
