Alessi — Plissé MDL08 B MDL08 B/CH | Thermoplastic resin toaster

There is something almost architectural about the Plissé. The fluted surface that gives it its name - that dense, precise vertical rhythm, similar to a tailored pleat or a finished concrete façade - transforms an everyday object into a small countertop sculpture. The deep black of the thermoplastic resin accentuates its formal character, lending every morning a quiet and elegant presence. The Plissé does not hide. It puts itself on display. Behind the signature is Michele De Lucchi, one of the most influential Italian architects and designers of the last forty years: founder of studios, author of installations, and designer of institutional buildings and household objects with the same conceptual consistency. De Lucchi has always worked on the dialogue between industrial form and human warmth, and the Plissé is a successful synthesis of this: an appliance that speaks the language of sophisticated design without forgetting the everyday and emotional dimension of the object in the kitchen. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé because it embodies exactly what we look for when selecting a product: the ability to bring function and beauty together without one overshadowing the other. It is the right object for those who care about every detail of their home, who cannot tolerate aesthetic mediocrity even in the smallest things, and who consider breakfast a ritual to be experienced mindfully. Project notes: 850W of power, compact dimensions of 34 × 19 × 19 cm, high-quality black thermoplastic resin. This B/CH version is equipped with a Swiss plug. Part of the permanent Alessi collection, designed for the autumn-winter months.
