Alessi — Plissé MDL17 MDL17/BOGR | De Lucchi water bottle with spout

There is something deeply familiar about the Plissé silhouette: the grooved surface running vertically along the body of the water bottle evokes memories of old-fashioned carafes and the blown glass in family cabinets, yet everything here is contemporary, lightweight, and designed for everyday use. The spout integrated into the cap turns every sip into a clean, precise action, with no unnecessary intermediaries between your hands and the water. Michele De Lucchi - one of the most influential architects and designers on the Italian scene, founder of AMDL CIRCLE and a historic voice of the Memphis movement - has built a formal language around Plissé that is both industrial and artisanal. The vertical grooves that give the collection its name are not merely decorative: they shape the grip, distribute light across the surface, and transform a functional object into a small exercise in style. De Lucchi collaborated with Alessi on this line, adapting it into kitchen appliances and accessories that share a recognizable and coherent aesthetic DNA. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé water bottle because it perfectly captures what we look for in the objects we bring into our store: the ability to make everyday life beautiful without apparent effort. It is ideal for those who approach the kitchen with care, for those who do not want to sacrifice form even in the simplest object, and for those who see design as an act of care for themselves and the spaces they inhabit. Project notes: capacity 55 cl, diameter 8.5 cm, height 24 cm. Designed by Michele De Lucchi for Alessi, Plissé collection. Listed as a discontinued product - one more reason not to put it off.
