Alessi — Plissé MDL17 MDL17/BORW | Michele De Lucchi designer water bottle

There is something immediately recognizable about Plissé: that pleated surface running along the cylindrical body like a light fabric moved by the wind, or like the skirt of an evening dress skillfully draped. The MDL17/BORW bottle is a pleasure to hold — with a 55 cl capacity, an 8.5 cm diameter, and a light weight that makes it a discreet companion every day. The spout cap completes the design with formal consistency, without resorting to sporty or aggressive solutions: it remains elegant, functional, and true to the character of the collection. Plissé was born from the vision of Michele De Lucchi, one of the undisputed masters of contemporary Italian design, founder of the AMDL CIRCLE studio and a central figure in the history of Postmodernism and beyond. De Lucchi developed a family of small kitchen appliances for Alessi — kettles, toasters, tabletop refrigerators — united by the unmistakable pleated texture that gives the entire line its name. A consistent formal language, capable of transforming everyday objects into pieces with strong narrative value. At Stilmobili, we chose the Plissé bottle because it perfectly conveys what we look for: the fine line between industrial design and an object of desire. It is ideal for those who want to carry with them, even outside the home, a fragment of the aesthetic care that defines their spaces. A distinctive gift, a desk accessory, a complement for the kitchen: Plissé adapts without ever giving up its identity. Project notes: height 24 cm, capacity 55 cl, diameter 8.5 cm. Net weight 350 g.
