Alessi — Porcafortuna AGJ01 14 | Porcelain Christmas figurine dipi

There is something ancient yet irreverent about this small porcelain figure: a lucky pig dressed for the occasion, able to fit in the palm of a hand and, with its rounded, sly presence, occupy an entire corner of the memory. The white porcelain surface comes alive beneath the hand-painted details, where no two pieces are perfectly identical - each small variation tells the story of the gesture of the person who decorated it, transforming a mass-produced object into something truly unique. Porcafortuna was created through a collaboration between Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori, two emblematic figures from that borderland where design meets illustration, Pop Art, and Italian underground culture. Both connected to the world of New Figuration and author comics, they bring Alessi a vision that is playful and cultured at the same time, capable of subverting the conventions of the Christmas gift without ever sacrificing formal quality. The result is a piece belonging to the Alessi Palinsesto fall/winter collection: designed for the holidays, but with too much character to remain in a drawer for the rest of the year. At Stilmobili, we chose Porcafortuna because it embodies one of the reasons we love Alessi: the ability to turn everyday life - even something as ritualistic as a Christmas gift - into an act of genuine taste and affection. It is the ideal gift for those who collect objects with a story, who smile at intelligent irony, or who want to wish someone good luck with something that will never be forgotten.
