Alessi — Pulcina MDL11 B | Black De Lucchi milk frother

There is something intentionally tender about the name Pulcina: a small, curious, lightweight creature. Alessi's milk frother brings this lightness to its form as well - a slim black thermoplastic resin body, 27.5 centimeters of quiet presence on the kitchen counter, with a steel whisk that rotates with the precision of something that knows exactly what to do. The result in the cup is dense, velvety foam, the kind that transforms a morning coffee into a small daily ritual. Michele De Lucchi - one of the most versatile architects and designers on the Italian scene, a leading figure in the Memphis Group and later an interpreter of a more thoughtful, humanistic aesthetic - designed this accessory with his usual attention to the relationship between object and gesture. For De Lucchi, every household tool is a silent interlocutor: Pulcina responds to the hand with balance, while the integrated rechargeable battery eliminates any dependence, restoring complete freedom of movement. A design that does not impose itself, but accompanies. At Stilmobili, we chose Pulcina because it embodies a vision of everyday life that reflects who we are: one that does not separate caring for a space from caring for the gesture. It is the ideal accessory for those who furnish a kitchen thoughtfully, for those who give gifts with taste, and for those who seek quality even where the eye lingers for only a moment. It works on any surface and complements any style - from a contemporary loft to a light-wood kitchen.
