Alessi — Rundes Modell JH01/2 | Hoffmann dinner fork

There is something immutable in the perfection of a line. Josef Hoffmann's Rundes Modell fork demonstrates this with the discretion characteristic of great classics: 21.5 centimeters of 18/10 stainless steel that feels natural in the hand, like an ancient gesture, yet surprises every time with its formal purity. The profile is rigorous, almost architectural, and the weight - contained and balanced - gives the palm a sensation of authentic, understated quality. Josef Hoffmann, co-founder of the Wiener Werkstätte in 1903, is among the most influential figures in applied design throughout the entire twentieth century. The Rundes Modell project is rooted in his radical thinking: the everyday object as a vehicle for civic beauty, the table as a place of total aesthetic composition. Alessi welcomed this cutlery set into Officina Alessi, the line dedicated to research projects and the great masters of international design, preserving its formal integrity with the fidelity the piece deserves. At Stilmobili, we chose Rundes Modell because it embodies exactly what we look for when we talk about timeless design: not a historical quotation for its own sake, but an object that continues to work, function, and inspire. It is the ideal cutlery for those who set a table with care and intention, for those who do not separate aesthetic taste from everyday pleasure. A purchase destined to last for generations. Design notes: 18/10 stainless steel. Length 21.5 cm. Part of the Officina Alessi collection. Designed by Josef Hoffmann. Available as a complete Rundes Modell cutlery set.
