Alessi — Santiago DC05/8 GD | Gold-plated steel coffee spoon

There is something subtly ceremonial about stirring sugar into coffee when the utensil held between your fingers has the right proportions, the exact weight, and the gleam of something that knows it is being watched. The Santiago teaspoon - code DC05/8 GD - is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a gold finish: a surface that catches the morning light and reflects it discreetly, without excess. Ten centimeters of pure form, designed to sit naturally in the cup and leave a lasting impression. Santiago was created by David Chipperfield, an internationally renowned British architect known for a design language that combines geometric rigor with a sensitivity to materials. Chipperfield - 2023 Pritzker Prize winner - brings the same philosophy that governs his buildings to everyday objects: no gratuitous ornament, no concession to decoration for its own sake. The Santiago collection translates this vision to the scale of the table, where each piece becomes a small manifesto of applied architecture. At Stilmobili, we chose Santiago because it embodies exactly what we look for when selecting an object to bring into our clients' homes: the ability to elevate the everyday without making it unrecognizable. It is the ideal teaspoon for those who curate their table setting with the same care devoted to interior design, for those who consider breakfast or after-dinner coffee an authentic moment of style. The gold finish also makes it perfect as a gift of refined good taste. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel with a gold finish. Length 10 cm. Designer David Chipperfield.
