After La Cintura di Orione by Richard Sapper and Falstaf by Alessandro Mendini, Alessi has entrusted a designer with the difficult task of touching the public's imagination, exploring the archaic continent of "pot-making". Stefano Giovannoni, whose style expressly recalls a poetics of affection, has suggestively reinterpreted the ancient terracotta pots and the warmth of familiar scents in capacious, pot-bellied, blessed "two-eared" pots, as Catullus sang, produced in functional and practical stainless steel.
