Alessi — SG43 | Polished 18/10 stainless steel charger plate

There is something hypnotic about the surface of a polished stainless steel charger: it reflects the light on the table, multiplies the candelabras, and catches the eye before the food even arrives. Alessi's SG43 is this and much more - a perfect 33-centimeter-diameter disk, forged from 18/10 stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish that seems almost too precious to touch. Yet it is there to be used, to support everyday ceremonies and memorable dinners. The design bears the signature of Stefano Giovannoni, one of the most prolific and recognizable designers in the Alessi universe, capable like few others of combining formal rigor with aesthetic appeal. Giovannoni often works with the vocabulary of geometric perfection - the sphere, the cylinder, the disk - shaping them into objects that seem to have emerged not from a technical office, but from a dream of order and beauty. The SG43 is his interpretation of the charger as an archetype: no decoration, no concessions to excess, just the strength of a complete form. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece because it represents exactly what we seek when setting a table becomes an act of conscious style. It is the ideal accessory for those who want every detail to speak, for those who host with care and consider the table setting an extension of their own taste. It pairs naturally with contemporary dinnerware as well as designer porcelain, and works equally well in a minimalist kitchen or a reinterpreted classic dining room. Project details: mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel, diameter 33 cm, weight 849 g. Dishwasher safe, with the usual care reserved for quality objects.
