Alessi — STEN ABGMP3625B | Iacchetti non-stick aluminum saucepan

There is a quiet coherence in STEN that reveals itself as soon as you pick it up: the calibrated weight of the aluminum, the non-stick interior surface that catches the light in an almost mineral way, the black exterior that absorbs the eye without yielding to ornamentation. The steel handles with silicone coating provide a firm, secure grip, while the glass lid - topped with a knob that echoes the same material vocabulary - lets you observe the cooking without interrupting the ritual. A saucepan that does not ask to be noticed, yet never goes unnoticed. STEN was created by Giulio Iacchetti, one of the most thoughtful Milanese designers of his generation and a recipient of the Compasso d'Oro. His approach to design always prioritizes necessity over decoration: every form must earn its presence through refined utility. This same philosophy can be found in this saucepan - an essential geometry, proportions designed for everyday cooking, and a 26 cm diameter that suits both daily meals and the table at an important dinner. We chose it for Stilmobili because STEN belongs to that rare category of household objects capable of discreetly inhabiting the spaces we curate: the kitchen as a room to be designed with the same attention given to the living room. It is the ideal gift for those who love to cook with intention, and for anyone seeking tools that last over time without sacrificing aesthetics. It is worth noting that this is a discontinued item: an opportunity to seize for anyone who wants to bring home a signed object before it becomes impossible to find. Design notes: aluminum with an interior non-stick coating and black exterior finish. Capacity 140 cl, diameter 26 cm, height 8.3 cm. Net weight 1.185 kg. Handles and knob in steel with silicone coating. Tempered glass lid.
