Alessi — STEN ABGMP3633B | glass lid with black silicone knob

A circle of transparent glass, edged with the rigor of steel and crowned by a knob covered in black silicone: STEN is a lid that transforms the most everyday gesture in the kitchen - lifting, monitoring, waiting - into an act of formal awareness. Its 24-centimeter diameter creates a decisive presence on the stovetop, while the choice of matte black for the knob introduces a restrained, almost graphic chromatic tension against the purity of the glass. The design bears the signature of Giulio Iacchetti, a Milanese designer among the most reflective of his generation, capable of restoring poetry to the objects of everyday life without demanding attention. With Alessi, Iacchetti has explored a realm of domestic gestures reinterpreted with rigor: STEN belongs to this school of thought, where function is never a pretext but the starting point for a study of essential form. In the Stilmobili catalog, STEN represents that rare space where a designer piece enters the kitchen without ostentation. It is intended for those who already have a discerning eye for objects - those who recognize the difference between a lid and a design project - and seek aesthetic consistency even in their work tools. Ideal for completing a quality cookware set or as a gift for anyone passionate about design applied to domestic life. Design notes: lid compatible with 24 cm pots. Heat-resistant tempered glass, steel knob with silicone coating for a secure grip. End-of-line collection - limited availability.
