Alessi — Tibidabo | Lassus Design Spoon

Alessi Tibidabo KL12 - The Spoon That Tells the Story of the Table

Setting the table is not just about arranging objects: it is about creating an atmosphere. The Alessi Tibidabo KL12 spoon, designed by Kristiina Lassus, brings to the table that precise balance between form and function that distinguishes a well-designed object from one that is merely useful. Its generous size invites sharing - rice, vegetables, salads - transforming the act of serving into a gesture of care toward those seated with us.

The Tibidabo Design

Kristiina Lassus designed a serving spoon in which proportions are everything. Measuring 26 cm in length and 7.8 cm in width, the KL12 is sized to collect food naturally without becoming cumbersome. Its polished 18/10 stainless steel surface reflects the light on the table and complements every table-setting style, from raw linen and artisanal ceramics to more formal porcelain. It is not an object to hide in a drawer: it is designed to remain on display, bringing with it the aesthetic consistency that Alessi has built over time.
