Alessi — Tonale DC03/38 DC03/38 LG | Light Grey stoneware salad bowl

There is something profoundly quiet about Tonale's stoneware ceramic: a material that seems to have already lived, carrying the memory of earth and fire in its thickness. The DC03/38 salad bowl in Light Grey has a shape that does not seek to astonish, but to endure - a clean profile, a generous diameter of 23 centimeters, and a presence on the table with the discretion of great objects. The light gray of the surface is not an absence of color, but a precise choice: that neutral, mineral tone that engages with linen, wood, and the natural light of a summer morning. Tonale was created by the hand of David Chipperfield, an internationally renowned British architect known for a rigorous vision of construction and deep respect for context. When Alessi entrusted him with this project, Chipperfield did what he does best: he removed, simplified, and sought the essential. The result is a collection that transforms the table into a miniature architectural landscape, where each piece finds its place with the naturalness of necessary things. We chose Tonale for Stilmobili because it embodies exactly what we look for when we talk about authentic design: the ability to combine beauty and function without emphasis, without unnecessary decoration. It is the ideal tableware for those who furnish their home with care and consistency, for those who enjoy entertaining with informal elegance, and for those who recognize everyday life as the most important place to express their taste. Project notes: stoneware ceramic, Light Grey color, diameter 23 cm, height 10 cm, capacity 300 cl. Alessi production, spring/summer collection.
