Alessi — Tonale DC03 DC03/3100 | Chipperfield crystal glass carafe

There is something ancient yet rigorously contemporary about Tonale, the crystal-clear glass carafe that David Chipperfield designed for Alessi. The absolute transparency of the crystal reveals every milliliter of liquid it contains, transforming the simple act of pouring into a small gesture of light. The silicone stopper - precise, discreet, functional - seals the neck of the carafe with the same constructive logic that Chipperfield applies to his architecture: nothing superfluous, everything meaningful. The Tonale collection was born from the collaboration between one of the world's most respected architects and the Crusinallo manufacturing tradition. Chipperfield brings his vision of tempered modernism to the table, far from formal exhibitionism and instead rooted in the quality of the material and the coherence of the gesture. Each piece in the collection engages with the others according to the same quiet logic that governs his buildings: Berlin's Neues Museum, the Tate Modern, and the Venetian spaces of the Procuratie Vecchie. The one-liter carafe - with its 21-centimeter height and compact 10-centimeter diameter - fits perfectly within this grammar. At Stilmobili, we chose Tonale because it represents exactly what we look for in a quality contemporary table setting: objects that do not shout, but become more noticeable over time. It is the ideal carafe for those who enjoy entertaining with restraint, who consider the table an extension of the home rather than a stage set. Perfect in a minimalist setting as a crystal accent among matte ceramics, or on a completely transparent table where it becomes the invisible protagonist. Project notes: capacity 100 cl, height 21 cm, diameter 10 cm. Silicone stopper included. Hand-washable.
