Alessi — Toru NE02 B | Nendo black electric citrus juicer

Toru is an object that seems to hold its breath. Its compact, vertical form asserts itself on the work surface with the discretion of one who has nothing to prove: 18/10 stainless steel and thermoplastic resin merge into a dense, almost sculptural black silhouette. Operating it is a minimal gesture - almost a ritual - from which emerges all the formal concentration that Alessi devotes to the tools of everyday domestic life. Toru was born from the pencil of Nendo, the studio founded in Tokyo in 2002 by Oki Sato, one of the most celebrated names in contemporary international design. Nendo is a master of the art of subtraction: each project removes the superfluous until it reveals the object's functional essence, giving it an almost silent presence. In Toru, this philosophy translates into rigorous proportions and a geometry that engages on equal terms with both professional and discerning domestic kitchens. The matte black finish intensifies the perception of the material, transforming an electric citrus squeezer into a collectible piece. At Stilmobili, we chose Toru because it embodies exactly what we look for when curating our selection: objects capable of inhabiting the kitchen with elegance without ever compromising on performance. It is designed for those who consider design a form of daily care - for those who, in the morning, want even the simplest gesture to have a worthy form. Ideal in kitchens with a contemporary and minimalist aesthetic, it blends naturally into the most refined settings. Project notes: Power 72–85W, European plug.
