Alessi — Trino AGJ01 11 | Hand-painted porcelain Christmas figurine

There is something ancient and, at the same time, ironic about Trino: a white porcelain figure that inhabits the boundary between the tradition of the Italian nativity scene and the language of contemporary comics. Its compact forms - eleven centimeters high, with a contained and dense silhouette - tell of an object designed to be held in the hand, turned, and observed up close. Every color detail is entrusted to the human brushstroke: no cold mass production, but the slight imperfection that makes each piece unique. Trino was born from the collaboration between Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori, two unconventional figures in the Italian design scene: illustrators, visual artists, and theorists of author comics. Giacon, close to the aesthetics of Memphis and the more sophisticated side of pop culture, and Jori, a painter and theorist with a neo-primitive sensibility, come together in the AlessiPalinsesto collection with a Christmas bestiary that evades all rhetoric of the sacred or conventional decoration. Trino is part of this hybrid figurative universe, where Christmas becomes a pretext for a personal and recognizable visual narrative. At Stilmobili, we chose it because it embodies exactly what we seek when we talk about quality decoration: not an interchangeable ornament, but a small object with a point of view. It is ideal for those who want to build a domestic tradition made up of carefully selected pieces, for those who give gifts with intention, and for those who know that even a figurine can be a collectible work of art. Project notes: hand-decorated porcelain, dimensions 11 × 4 × 10 cm. Designers: Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori. AlessiPalinsesto Collection, fall/winter season. EAN 8003299458691.
