There is something hypnotic about the shape of Trumpet: a neck that extends with the silent tension of a musical instrument ready to play, a base that widens with the confidence of something that knows its place in the world. Made of spun brass, the vase captures the light and reflects it with that warm, almost amber quality that only noble metals can offer. The narrow neck is a deliberate choice - it does not impose, but suggests: a solitary flower, a curved branch, an essential composition that becomes a gesture. Trumpet was conceived by Michael Anastassiades, the London-based Cypriot designer who is among the most refined voices in the contemporary international design scene, and is part of Alessi's *Il Tornitore Matto* collection - a project that celebrates turning as a craft elevated to a poetic language. Here, Anastassiades brings his unmistakable signature: pure geometries, an absence of superfluous decoration, an elegance that does not seek approval because it already knows it has it. At Stilmobili, we chose Trumpet because it represents exactly that borderline area where a functional object ceases to be merely functional and becomes a presence. It is ideal for those who furnish with intention, for those seeking an accessory capable of engaging equally with a contemporary interior or a more classic reinterpreted space. A gift of the highest level, recognizable without the need for labels. Project notes: spun brass, bronze finish. Height 24.9 cm, diameter 16.7 cm. Il Tornitore Matto collection, Alessi.
