Alessi — Veneer PU06/21 PU06/21 BR | Colored steel bowl Patrici

There is something hypnotic about Veneer's surface: the steel disappears beneath a layer of warm brown epoxy resin, and the raised decoration transforms a simple bowl into an object to observe even before using it. Its low, broad profile - twenty-one centimeters in diameter and just six and a half in height - creates a form that invites filling: with fruit, keys, or nothing at all. Simply placing it on a table is enough to change the tone of the room. Patricia Urquiola designed this piece with the same tactile intelligence that characterizes all her work. A designer trained in Madrid and based in Milan, Urquiola has developed a design language capable of moving effortlessly between the grand scale of interior architecture and the intimate dimensions of the domestic object. Veneer is part of her collaboration with Alessi within the Palinsesto fall/winter collection: a project conceived to explore material as a narrative surface, where relief is not ornament but visual structure, a memory of a gesture. At Stilmobili, we chose Veneer because it is one of those objects that work quietly: they do not impose themselves, but define a space. It is ideal for those who furnish their home with rare pieces, for those looking for a centerpiece unlike any other, and for those who want to give something authentic and cultured as a gift. Its warm, earthy brown color engages with the natural materials so sought after today - wood, stone, linen - without ever giving in to the banality of trends. Project notes: as this piece is classified as end-of-line, availability is limited. An opportunity for those who love understated exclusivity.
