Wing is not simply a coat rack: it is a sculptural element that engages with the architecture of the surroundings, transforming a neutral surface into a vibrant composition that continually changes with the objects hung on it and the light flowing across its walnut arms.

The Wing Design

Designed by Lievore Altherr Molina for Arper, Wing stems from the intention to restore design dignity to an often-overlooked object. The walnut arms, with their delicate, naturally striped grain, unfold in a smooth, undulating movement that evokes organic forms - an almost ethnic, ancestral rhythm, yet perfectly contemporary. Installed alone, it becomes a discreet sculptural presence; multiplied across an entire wall, it creates a modular composition with a powerful visual impact. The metal supporting structure ensures solidity without compromising the overall lightness of the silhouette.
