Diletto is not simply a sofa bed: it is a space that transforms, breathing in rhythm with the home. Pinuccio Borgonovo envisioned an organic, fluid form in which rigidity gives way to a silhouette that accommodates both informal relaxation and mindful rest. Every gesture becomes natural, and every configuration reveals a new identity of the same object.
The Diletto design
Designed by Pinuccio Borgonovo in 2025, Diletto was created to free the sofa bed from its compromising nature. The backrest is designed in two independent sections, each controlled by a manual mechanism that allows infinite adjustments: from a deep, informal seat to progressively more relaxed positions. By fully raising both backrests and removing the upholstery cushion, the sofa is completely transformed into a bed. The advanced version integrates a second pull-out, lift-up bed housed beneath the base, transforming a single element into a living solution for two people. Available in high-quality fabrics and leathers, with coordinated finishes for the frame and cushions.
