Flou Foglio — The Lightness of Curved Metal
A design gesture that dissolves the boundaries between bedside table and bed. Foglio embodies the philosophy of minimalist design through a skillfully curved metal sheet, where every corner disappears in favor of harmonious continuity. The interior space accommodates, almost in suspension, a functional compartment containing a drawer and a support surface.
The Foglio Project
In 2020, Pinuccio Borgonovo conceived Foglio as an exercise in formal subtraction. The anodized metal structure is available in eight sophisticated finishes: anodic bronze, burnished, white, greige, black, oxide, silver oxide and desert rock. The drawer can match the structure's finish or contrast with smoked or bronze mirrored fronts, allowing compositional variations that preserve the essential aesthetic of the project. Every detail is calibrated to eliminate uncomfortable edges, creating a seamless transition between the horizontal and vertical surfaces.
