Flou Gaudí - A Tribute to the Nobility of Wood
Gaudí enters a room and redefines it. The solid wood structure creates a sinuous framework that interacts with the soft upholstery, transforming the bed into the visual and narrative center of the space. It is a rare balance between living material and craftsmanship, between constructional rigor and sensory comfort.
The Gaudí Design
Designed by Matteo Nunziati in 2020, Gaudí was conceived as a reflection on the nobility of wood and its relationship with the materials of domestic intimacy. The solid wood headboard and supporting feet - available in natural ash, coffee-stained and black-stained finishes, or in natural iroko and coffee-stained iroko - are the result of artisanal craftsmanship that restores the wood's natural plasticity, curves and grain. The fabric or leather upholstery seems to rest naturally on the structure, almost casually. In reality, it is the result of careful design: every proportion is calibrated to enhance the beauty of the wood and amplify the formal quality of the whole. The sleeping surface is equipped with adjustable slats.
