Flou — Koi | Colombo Design Double Bed

Flou Koi - The Discreet Harmony of the Double Bed
Koi enters the bedroom with the same quiet presence as an object that seems to have always been there. Its clean lines redefine the space without imposing themselves, creating a gravitational center around which the entire room finds balance.
The Koi Design
The name comes from Japanese and carries a precise meaning: fidelity and love. In 2019, Carlo Colombo designed a double bed for Flou that translates this concept into form. The headboard's rigorous geometry is framed by a metal structure that flows downward to form the feet, in a constructive gesture that combines structure and lightness. The fabric, finished with vertical quilting, softens the rigor of the silhouette and visually elongates the headboard, adding tactile depth and a sophistication that does not need to be displayed. The result is a bed that speaks the language of contemporary luxury: the kind that is perceived, not flaunted.
