The New Bond Design
The name evokes the famous London street, a symbol of understated elegance and exceptional craftsmanship. Designed by Matteo Nunziati in 2018, New Bond stands out for a decorative motif that runs across the headboard and bed frame: an interweaving of leather straps that intersect at precise points, creating loops and belt loops with the same care devoted to a haute couture garment. It is not an added ornament, but a structurally integrated design solution that expresses the artisanal skill Flou has refined for over forty years. The straps are made exclusively of leather, regardless of the finish chosen for the rest of the bed - a deliberately sought-after material contrast that is difficult to replicate without such depth of expertise.
