A living room that transforms into a bedroom in just a few simple steps: Flou's PiazzaDuomo reinterprets the concept of convertible furniture, eliminating any compromise between aesthetics and function. By day, a sofa with a contemporary presence; by night, a single or double bed - without forcing the space to give up its identity.
The PiazzaDuomo Design
Designed by Giulio Manzoni in 2013, PiazzaDuomo stems from a reflection on contemporary domestic living: how to meet the need for flexible spaces without compromising the formal rigor that distinguishes quality furniture. The solution is not the classic fold-down mechanism, but a system designed to make conversion natural and silent. The slatted base accommodates a spring or Memoform mattress, ensuring genuine comfort. The armrests and seat, available with removable fabric or leather covers secured with Velcro, complement three cushions with zippers: a detail that reflects careful design at every stage of use.
