Flou Pierre Outdoor — The Island of Comfort Under the Stars
Pierre transforms outdoor space into an oasis of informal conviviality. The sofa, with its generous, enveloping forms, invites mindful relaxation outdoors, while the coordinated collection of ottomans and side tables creates playful, easily reconfigurable furnishing landscapes, according to the mood and occasion.
The Pierre Project
In 2023, Studio Contromano designed a collection of seating intended for covered outdoor spaces, where comfort meets durability. The sofa features a curved, enveloping backrest that is fully upholstered and removable, paired with irregularly shaped seats covered in water-repellent fabric or certified leather. The structural interior uses materials treated to withstand atmospheric elements, while the fabrics in the dedicated collection preserve their color and texture over time, protecting them from the effects of sunlight. A waterproof, breathable polyester cover protects the pieces when not in use. Summer pastel tones complement the soft forms, creating a spontaneous and friendly atmosphere, further enhanced by the range of coordinated side tables and ottomans.
