The Tadao design
Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1993 for Flou, Tadao was born from an idea that is both direct and refined: make the bed's load-bearing slats, usually concealed beneath the upholstery, visible, and let them rise uninterrupted to form the headboard. The inspiration is Oriental - essential, quiet, precise - and translates into a silhouette that explains how it works without the need for embellishment. In the single version, Tadao is designed for those who love authentic design and are looking for a bed capable of giving character to a young, informal bedroom without weighing it down. Available in two widths and in various finishes - coffee-stained oak, natural and coffee-stained iroko, and the Epoque scratch-resistant finish in white and grey - it adapts to different styles while always remaining recognizable.
