A chest of drawers where the rounded form engages with recessed metal rings, creating a play of depth that captures the light. Toshi is Carlo Colombo’s design that transforms the bedroom into an experience of understated elegance, where every surface tells a story of fine materials and thoughtful proportions.
The Toshi Design
Designed in 2025 by Carlo Colombo, Toshi is a collection of pieces with an essential geometry that rejects superfluous ornamentation. The structure can be lacquered, made of coffee-stained ash, ebony, or covered in full-grain leather, while the metal rings—available in gold, black nickel, and chrome—set the rhythm of the drawers, creating voids and solids that interact with one another. The marble or leather top rises with a slight flared edge that makes it easier to contain objects, ensuring practicality without aesthetic compromise. The complete absence of handles completes the design, in which every element contributes to formal purity.
