Flou Yari — Geometry and lightness in a side table
A side table that engages with its surroundings without overwhelming them. Yari presents itself as an object of pure geometry: the round top, bevelled at the edges, rests on a steel base that visually disappears, leaving the noble material of the tabletop as the focus. Bronze-tinted glass or marble come together in a design where material texture becomes a design gesture.
The Yari design
In 2017, Massimo Castagna designed a family of side tables conceived for contemporary living spaces. The sturdy steel base supports tops available in different sizes, enabling flexible compositions: in the centre of the living room or beside sofas, as a discreet yet distinctive support element. The 8 mm-thick bronze-tinted glass top offers lightness and transparency; the 20 mm-thick marble top, on the other hand, introduces mass and tactile warmth. The bevelled edges are the detail that refines the geometry, transforming the side table into an object of genuine decorative value.
