Scherzer — Birds | Porcelain Salt and Pepper Shakers

Scherzer “Birds” Salt and Pepper Shakers - The Table as a Small Museum

There is something unexpected about finding so much grace in such a simple gesture. Placing these salt and pepper shakers at the center of the table is already an act of care: the avian forms that inhabit the pristine porcelain capture guests’ attention, transforming an ordinary moment into a pause of quiet beauty.

Why We Chose It for You

Scherzer was founded in Kirchenlamitz, Bavaria, in 1906, and for more than a century, the German manufacturer has upheld a European porcelain tradition founded on artisanal rigor and authentic decorative sensibility. The “Birds” motif expresses this language: delicate lines, soft colors, and a lightness that only mature craftsmanship can convey. Not a souvenir, not just any accessory - a piece to place on the table every day with renewed pleasure.
