Arper — Song | Wall-Mounted Coat Rack

Arper Song - The Coat Rack That Redesigns the Wall

Some objects enter a space and change it without asking permission. Arper's Song is one of them: mounted on the wall, it becomes the first sign you encounter when entering a home, a graphic gesture that organizes, welcomes, and tells the story of those who live there. Its musical-note-shaped arms rotate independently, adapting to any load-bearing need - coats, bags, scarves, hats - without ever giving up its visual identity.

The Song Design

Song stems from a reflection on the dual nature of everyday objects: function should not limit form; it can become its inspiration. Arper translates this principle into a boldly pop coat rack with a sculptural silhouette and a distinctive character. Eight aluminum arms - each capable of rotating independently - are attached to a steel stem with an embossed anthracite-colored finish, creating a composition that maintains its visual coherence even when completely empty. Paradoxically, that is when Song expresses itself best: no longer a functional accessory, but a sculpture applied to the wall. The wall-mounted version is complemented by a freestanding variant, which adds a steel or wood-veneered base, expanding placement possibilities in entryways, hallways, and living areas.
