Gingko Smart Book Light Mini — The Light That Lives Between the Pages

Closed on a bedside table, on a shelf, or among the books in a bookcase, the Gingko Smart Book Light Mini blends in like a linen-bound volume. Simply open it: the water-resistant Tyvek pages glow with a warm, diffused light, transforming any corner into a space of calm. An object that plays with perception, surprises those who see it for the first time, and wins over those who use it every day.

The Smart Book Light Mini Design

Gingko was founded with the aim of bringing an unexpected narrative to lighting design. The Smart Book Light Mini is perhaps the most successful example of this philosophy: it takes the form of a mini book made of maple wood and linen fabric, but its function is something else entirely. Hidden magnets in the binding allow it to open up to 360 degrees, adjusting the angle of the light with a natural gesture, almost like turning a page. The integrated LED ensures long life and low energy consumption; its built-in rechargeable battery frees it completely from the power outlet, allowing it to be placed wherever a little light is desired.
