Cattitude — The irony of time, in iron and two cats

There’s something disarming about a clock that looks at you with the nonchalance of a stretching cat. Cattitude reinterprets the solemnity of the classic English mantel clock with a distinctly contemporary lightness: two cats in playful poses mark the hours on your table, shelf, or desk - bringing a discreet, never banal smile to any room.

Why we chose it for you

Arti & Mestieri was founded in 1977 from the vision of Massimo Tani and Alberto Conti: to transform every everyday object into a design piece capable of surprising. Cattitude is a faithful example of this philosophy - hand-painted and hand-bent iron, a black finish, and a white dial with Roman numerals. The reference to Big Ben is explicit, but the result is anything but formal. It’s an object that says something about the person who chooses it.
