Arti & Mestieri — Small Icaro | Made in Italy Photo Frame

Icaro Piccolo — A photo frame that takes flight

There is something unusual about this frame: two slender wings open out to the sides, as if the memory it holds were about to take flight. The Icaro Piccolo photo frame by Arti & Mestieri transforms an everyday gesture - hanging a photograph or placing it on a shelf - into a small act of care for the space around us.

Why we chose it for you

Since 1977, Arti & Mestieri has designed objects that reject neutrality: each piece is conceived to add aesthetic value to something useful. Icaro Piccolo is a precise example - made entirely of iron with a contrasting-color finish, it is an object that tells a story even when there is no photograph inside. It is made in Italy, with painting and bending processes that give iron an unexpected lightness.
