The Silver Crane — Heel | Biscuit Tin

The Silver Crane Company "Tacco" Biscuit Jar - The irony of form at the service of the table

There is a precise moment when an object stops being functional and becomes a conversation piece. The Silver Crane Company's "Tacco" biscuit jar occupies exactly that space: on a sideboard shelf or at the center of a set table, its unmistakable profile catches the eye before anyone consciously notices it.

The "Tacco" design

The lid, which lifts like the heel of a women's shoe, is a precise design gesture: it takes an image - that of fashion and feminine elegance - and translates it into the language of household objects without losing anything along the way. The result is a piece that can be ironic without being frivolous, decorative without giving up its function. The intense lacquer red is not a secondary detail: it enhances the sculptural silhouette, gives the piece an even stronger presence in the space and makes it the undisputed star, even in an already richly furnished setting. It is the kind of object you choose already knowing where it will go, because it already knows how to claim its place.
